When will my order ship?
We make all our candy by hand and work hard to make sure all packages go out ASAP~usually next day! If you Place your order after 1pm on Wed for business addresses, or after 1pm Thursday for residential addresses, it will not ship until the following Monday.
Can I send a gift card with a gift order?
Yes you can! Please write your message in the comments box on your order. We will be happy to enclose a gift card at no additional charge.
What if I am not home at the time my candy arrives?
Please be aware that candy is a perishable material and is susceptible to all manner of weather (heat, humidity, cold, etc.). We package our candies with the utmost care but cannot control what the carrier does with your package! Please ensure the shipping address is correct and that someone is able to accept the package upon first delivery attempt. If no one is available to receive the package, please ensure the package is not exposed to the elements when delivered. We will not be responsible for packages left out in the elements or if you have given us the wrong address.
Can I place an order now with a future ship date or arrival date?
Yes, please advise us in the comments box. Make sure you specify a date. Also tell us if the date is your preferred ship date or arrival date. We will do our best to make sure your gift arrives on time, however we will not be responsible for carrier problems or delays. Please also bare in mind we do not usually ship Thursdays or Fridays.
What happens if I have given you the wrong delivery address?
Regrettably, if you do not provide a correct address and, thus, your candies do not get to you, we cannot resend the same candies back to you because they will have suffered a significant decrease in quality. Be sure the address you enter during checkout is correct! You will be charged for the candy.
What if I have food allergies?
We strive to ensure both the freshness and safety of our candies to our customers. Please exercise care if you are allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, and/or wheat! Our candies contain soy lecithin, and we use nuts in several products.
Many of our candies are processed with the use of shared equipment. Because we are storing, producing, and packaging products such as pretzels & cookies, gluten can also be present throughout our facility.
The utensils used to prepare and cut our candies may include trace amounts of foods that can trigger allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. If you have any questions or concerns regarding a specific allergy, please contact us for more information.
What if I can't eat all of my delicious candy right now?
Please be aware that candy is a perishable. If you can't possibly indulge in the whole box right now~NO WORRIES! Your fudge will stay good for 3 to 4 weeks at room temp, if it is sealed up good. You may freeze the fudge for up to a year. If you do freeze your fudge make sure to let thaw completely while still sealed. Please DO NOT Refrigerate as it will dry it out. If your fudge does get too dry~DON'T YOU DARE throw it out! Microwave it in microwave safe bowl at 30 sec intervals, stirring after each until it is smooth and creamy. Add 1tsp water, stir well and pour into small dish, let stand until set up.
Divinity may stay fresh for 2 to 3 weeks in an airtight container. We have successfully put Divinity in the freezer for 3-4 month. We let it thaw in the container and it was just as soft and wonderful as when fresh.
Most other candy will stay fresh for months unless it has a cream or other type center.
